Juvederm Ultra is Allergan’s top filler for lip augmentation. In fact, it can be used for people who are either looking to restore fullness to their lips or are simply wanting fuller lips! Juvéderm® Ultra Plus is slightly thicker than Juvéderm® Ultra and is a good choice for the correction of moderate to severe folds and wrinkles, such as the nasolabial folds (from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth) and the marionette lines. It may also be used to improve the appearance of “sunken in” temporal hollows. Effects typically last 8 to 9 months (may last up to one year)*.
As for any of the Juvéderm® products, Juvéderm® Ultra and Juvéderm® Ultra Plus can be melted in about 48 hours with an enzymatic product called hyaluronidase.
